ok, i got a P0405 code: Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Position Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
this is the second time ive gotten it in the 2.5 years ive had the truck. last time i cleared it and it hasnt come back in well over a year. so should i bother doing anything with it? truck is running the same as ever so it doesnt seem too important.

yep, you are wrong. mine does as well as all 03's built to CAFE standards. it was the federal emission LB7's that dont have EGR's or cats.

why EFI? just so i can turn off the EGR? if the code only comes back once a year and isnt going to hurt anything then i can live with just clearing it. i was mainly just trying to find out if its going to cause any other issues or should i block the EGR? it hasnt come back since and its only the second time ive gotten it in the 2.5 years ive had the truck. and i know EFI is great and all but i dont have the time or money to invest in it and im perfectly happy with the performance from my ATS epower for now.
