Theres a green wire with a black stripe (I think) near the injection pump. Its disconnected and I don't see any place to hook it up. Can someone tell me or show me where it goes? I'll post pictures later

In that location the only green wire I know has two terminals about six inches apart. One goes to the Cold Idle Solenoid and the other goes to the Fast Idle Solenoid.

Should have a better idea with a pic.

The GM schematic shows a Light Green-Black wire from the Cold Advance Solenoid to the Cold Advance Relay with a junction going to the Glow Plug Controller (Vin C)

What do you mean by aftermarket plugins?

That plugs into the fast idle solenoid, which is the round device with the screw going through it visible on the righthand side of the photo. It supplies power to the fast idle solenoid during a cold start, the solenoid then holds the throttle slightly open to allow for good idle and fast warmup while cold. When the engine temperature reaches a certain point it will shut off the fast idle by cutting power to that wire.
