im looking into getting a 6.5 diesel GMC and all i hear is about the fuel pump problems and how it costs alot to get fixed? :help:

Um but do they go out alot on the 6.5's?

Pumps, no not really. PMD's, yes, they do seem to cause problems but that is also avoidable with a remote mount. Problem is that Gm usually told the customer that it was the IP when infact the problem was usually the PMD which is the black box mounted to the side of the pump. You can have a service history search done on the truck you are looking at to see if the pump has been replaced on warrantee at any GM service dept. The search will show you everything that was ever done on the truck under warrantee. Take your time and research each truck and I am sure that you will find a good one for yourself.:)
