TNRGreene 03-09-2005, 03:26 PM After reading & reading I finnally broke down & bought one. Works great! Question I have is I modified the tune for tire size & speed limiter. I had to put the stock tune back in for a trip to the stealer today. When I re-install the tune will it remember the modifications I made or do I have to start from square 1? I haven't made the mods on this truck too much but on my '01 it always kept in memory the way I had it tweaked.... pretty sure it did. yamahagrizzly 03-09-2005, 07:06 PM on the new ones you have to re do everything because it doesnt memorize the trucks info/vin. the old ones locked onto the vin and memorized the info. thats why you had to seld it back to clear them before selling them. Can you have the old one's updated so they don't as well? skoryaro2 03-10-2005, 12:17 PM Restored saved tune For clarification: As stated above, the Predator for the LLY is different than the LB7 as it unlocks once the "stock" tune is loaded back into the vehicle so that it can be used in another truck. Loading the stock tune back into the truck is now worded as "Restore Saved Tune". Once you want to re-load your performance tune back into your truck, you have to "save" the stock tune again as though it was the first time you have ever used the Predator. This is good because if you get the re-flash done, the stock tune will be current in your Predator once it is saved. That being said......you will probably have to re-calibrate for the speedo each time as I haven't seen a way to save your settings, unless there's a way to save it as a custom tune???
