Stock pistons are not going to handle big power for a long period of time. So the question become how much power and how often do you plan to use it? LBZ rods are good for about 600 RwHp and above that they fail. We have rods that will handle what you can throw at them and have run over 1400 Hp on them now. As far as pistons goes the only unknown thing with ours is how long they will last in street conditions. So far we have close to 20,000 on some but that still isn't 50,000 mile which is what were looking for. Time will let us know how we the forged piston design is going to hold up on the street.

Stock pistons with the lip removed have been in the 700-800hp range for a while now. Beyond that look at the forged.

McRat runs cut piston's and that truck has taken a beating. I'm sure they will more than handle what you throw at them:D
