So I have a 07 LBZ with an ALLY, So I found an 03 in my area with the 6 speed standard and wanted to try it out cuz Ive always drove a stick previous to this truck. I know understand the "brotherhood of handshakers" that damn thing would rattle my arm off. and Im assuming its because it was an LB7 but that sucker was loud as hell with the stock exhaust on it. sounded so damn mean I was about to drop the $14k to get it. It was pretty beat up though. all the dash knobs were peeling, it had a glaze over the steering wheel. But yeah, it just felt like a beast, loud n shaky. Oh yeah, havent drove a stick in about 15 months, pretty funny, pull out on 3 lanes and get to doing the jerky thing. came right back though. anyways, just wanted to say I love the LBZ and Im never downgrading from this thing. tons of power, ease on the arm of the Ally. just a nice progression with the Dmax. pretty cool to see what its evolved from though.
