the problem is intermittant...in 1st gear light throttle ( creeping about 5 mph)after letting off then going back to light throttle trans neutrals out ...lift and step back on gas it engages... has done it about 5 times or so since new... truck is a month 1/2 old with 3,400 miles... any ideas...if it has to go back to stealership...i have to find another to go to...had the vice president of stealership tell me to ****** off,****** my truck,and get the ****** out of there...because they repaired lot damage and paint didnt match twice..in his eyes it did ..under the lighting we were in.. wouldnt take the time to see it after sun down and turned into a huge arguement... so not fond of stealerships...

plus i just installed juice/attitude this weekend and hate to take it back off to go to another stealership...lol any help appreciated

Check fluid yourself. Take 5 readings ( that means dip the stick 5 times) and read front of the stick and back of the stick, that should give you a good average. Always go by the low reading no matter what side of the stick reads lower.

if your fluid level is ok, its possible that you are catching it during the shift, when you let of the pedal, it stops making the shift and your back in and then it has to engage again.. you really have to catch it just right to do it, but its possible and 5mph sounds close.
