I have an 07.5 LMM and my engine light came on and the dic told me that my engine power is reduced and it says to have my exhuast filter cleaned. Does this need taken to the dealer ship or will it correct itself by driving. The only mods to it is Banks Ram Air and Monster Exhaust no programmer. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

My brother's did the same thing. He said he put in 1st gear and drove it at high rpm and the DPM did it's thing and he hasn't had it happen since.
Dunno if he got lucky or if it actually did the trick.

I haven't put any miles on it since the message came up. I may have to try that when I get home and will let you know if it works. The truck only has 24k miles so it may just be oil soak coming from the filter hitting the maf sensor. Thanks for the advice

If it was Me ! I would check the airfilter and intake and then clear the code and see what happens.
I got tired of taking my truck in for computer glitch causing codes.
I figured if the same code comes up again quick, then take it into the dealer.
I found a nice small compact code checker/clearer from Mac tools it is a ET50,if you can find a mac tools dealer and get one about $70.
I keep it in my center console.

Thanks, I will pull a code first to see what it is and go from there. I wonder if there is any local parts stores that can pull a code on it?

they told me to drive for 20 minutes at 40mph and it would clear itself. and it worked. the warning has gone off 3 times in 28000 miles.

Ive had this happen to me. When I first bought it did it to me about 3 months after having the truck and all the miles were highway just about. I had to take it to the dealer and clear the code. When I got it back I straight pipe it right away. I would get the engine power is reduce code only when i went to the beach but I would just turn it off let it sit for like 10mins and then it would be fine. do you still have the DPF?
