What I'd really like to do is have a 1970 Chevy Nova, or an earlier Chevy II with the duramax and have it tubbed. But its likely going to be a std cab shortbox or long box Chevy 2wd pickup of the 88-98 variety.
Anybody who has put a duramax/alli into a different vehicle, can you comment on the wiring thats required? Wiring for an OBD-II port for example, because to tune with EFI I'll need one... unless I can make a bench harness easily???
Anyways, give me the low down on it.
For information purposes, I have the ECM, TCM, Glow plug controller, FICM and all the wiring to put it all together. I just need to understand how to put it into a different vehicle.
