I know there are threads that go on forever about this, but I just wanted to post my recent findings with what I have done in the hopes that it answers questions to folks that want to know.
Recently installed the MBRP front pipe minus cat and did notice a bit quicker spool up, louder turbo whistle, about 20 degree lower temps as well. Just filled up and got 14 city/highway hand calculated. This has been steadily going up since I switched to Chevron fuel.
Tax return money came in so I bought the MAC cold air intake and just installed it. The most obvious is the way louder whistle and seems to accelerate a bit more smoother.
I am curious if this will help the mileage any, not that I am complaining, but it woud be nice.
