Hey gang,
I picked up a 1995 Silverado 2500 extracab on Friday. It is rust free, has 210 000 Km and is fully loaded. The old 6.5 runs like a charm and has had tons of work done to it over the years. I was lucky to have bought a truck with a full service history and a myriad of mods done to it. Upon my first OLF I discovered that it had a larger down pipe, no cat, full 4" exhaust a very small free flow muffler, a BD exhaust brake (fully functioning), K&N filter, snorkel removal, newish GPs and controller, and a whack of other parts installed in the last 3-5 years. All in all I think it is an excellent truck. The one thing I did find was a chip looking thingy in the console that is blue and is "embossed with "BLUE" on the connector side. No idea what it is for but I sure would like to know.
Anyway, this is a great site and I familiar with one of your experts from the LOST KJs board....Hi GMCTD1
