I see i better rotate my tires...have 11,000kms on them and the front kinda show a slight cuping. I was gonna take the front and move them strait to the back so that they stay turning the same way...anyone have any other thoughts ?

Front to back and back to opposite front. That's the way I've always done it. I just rotated mine this weekend. The rear wheels were a b@#$h to get off and my truck just turned 5K. As I've read here before, I highly recommend putting some anti-seize on the center of the hub where the wheel sits. Just to prevent future problems.

On rear drive vehicles, I always move the rears straight ahead and move the fronts back to the side opposite of where they come off. Has always worked well for me. Be prepared to beat the rears with a rubber mallet to get them to come loose from the hubs. A little anit-seize will help with future rotations.

Think every 5000 miles is recommended. Owner manual gives recommendation for a 4 or 5 wheel rotation. I generally rotate 4. Put the spare on the ground and buy 3 new ones keeping best of the old ones for a spare. Then get rid of truck when new stuff is about 1/2 worn.

i rotate mine as much as i can. we have a local shop that puts on our tires and gives free tire rotations. so every 3k miles i am in there getting them rotated. some say every 6k or 2 oil changes or everyone one a diesel.

I have two sets of wheels/tires. A summer set (the original Firestone Steeltex) and a winter set (Nokians). So we effectively do a "rotation" each spring and fall of each tire set when it is time to change over.

I rotate mine when I change my oil. @ every 5K miles. I also change oil & fuel filters and alli filter every 2nd change. I lube all zerks as well every 5K.

I just go front to back. Bout every 25,000 KLMs. Tires aren't too bad for wear.

On my gassers, every 3rd oil change (9000) in the pattern mentioned: X, F-R, X, F-R gets you right back where you started. With the new D/A I'll go to every other oil change (10000). Had real good luck with that routine for alot more years than I care to mention (about 40 yrs).

Fronts to the rear, and the rears to the oposite front, every 5-8K miles.
While the front tires are off, 10 of the 11 grease zerks are very accessable.
