Need some advice from some of you experts on the 6.5.Looking at a 2000 Jimmy K3500 with the 6.5 engine with an automatic.The truck has 62K miles--seems real clean,a 1 owner deal. To buy or not to buy--that's the question and what can I generally expect for reliability,mileage,etc. Thanks.

should expect at least 18 mpg highway.

you shouldnt really have any problems till about 150k or so. them maybe injectors.

you might want to relocate the pmd though. search on that, easy and cheap.

how much? does it have a remote mount PMD?

i have installed a PMD, boost master, injectors, turbo, injection pump, new serp belt, and intake in my 6.5 since i bought it. runs like a champ now

this stuff seems to be rather standered.

Jimmy is an acronym for GMC. A K3500 is a 4x4 1 ton chassis.Thanks guys,I road tested it Sat.---seemed to run fine but it's at a dealers in Monticello and it's way overpriced and wasn't as nice in person as the pics.It's a little 3 yd. dump that had a Blizzard plow and it seems that it's best days are behind it now.
