What has to be wrong with your in jectors for it to be covered under the special extended warranty? My truck is at the dealership right now because some times it idles rough and rev up on its own when I start it. They said that the balance rate was high on the #2 injector and is going to cost $1500 to replace it.

I thought it was covered under the special warranty, but they are telling me that the special warranty only covers cracked injector bodies and high fuel rate return levels.

Is there anything wrong with driving the truck like this? I don't have $1500 right now to pay to fix it.

Take your truck to another dealer. If it is still under the warranty period they should replace all eight, regardless of how many are faulty. 1500 is what the dealer charges me for changing all eight, I supply the injectors.
