I need to get a different tool box for behind the cab. What do you like for getting tools and jacks out of when you have your 5^th wheel attacked to your truck?

A low profile single lid or a double lid box over the bed rails?

Or chest box that sits in the bed?

I use http://www.trucktrunk.com/. I really like this tool box...BUT...as low profile as it is, I've still managed to just nick the 5th wheel trailer with the corner of the tool box. A safer route is: http://www.800toolbox.com/. They make a nice 5th wheel box.

If I had to do it again....I'd like to stay even with the bed rails....but aux fuel tank may also limit your options if you do that.

I installed a Kobalt KTC56 in my Dually longbed. I pull a 29 Ft 5th Wheel with it. Works great even with the trailer attached. I carry a 3 ton jack in the box with all my gear for the trailer. The box was silver when I bought it. I put three coats of flat black on it. If you don't look you won't see the box in the bed. Got from Louies in southern Cal.

I saw this box on a truck the other day awesome box. Low profile deep about 19 inch. You can walk acrossed the lid without it bowing or denting. So you can wash the roof of you crew cab with out putting a piece plywood on your lid. Comes powder coat black outside and inside or diamond plate.$469.00 at a the truck store. I can't find one on the net, but has anyone seen one? Post me a link.
