I finally hit the 100k point. Went to Florida this past weekend and on the way back home it turned over. Hopefully the next 100k will be as reliable.

1BADDMAX, nice truck. My truck came from a dealership in Forest City NC. The dealership in Benson, NC went up there when I bought it and drove it back to me. Mine has 81,000 on it and adding up fast. Good luck with the next 100,000 miles.:)

Hey hd90rider, was there a reason the motor went at 282k. I would expect it to last longer, some of our gas motors go that long. Anything under 300k on my duramax would be a disappointment. You put on your miles real quick so I would expect that motor to last with more miles on it.

1BADDMAX,

99,600 on the odo...but actually around 110,000 on the truck. Gotta love those bigger tires. The only major trouble is the Censoreding DMF...I'm on my 3rd.

Love the truck and get a big :D on my face everyday I drive her!!!

Yes, 3 seperate injector failures starting at 215k. Each failure dumped fuel into the oil. With each instance ,oil pressure was reduced, going from 65psi finally to 40psi. When the motor finally let loose, there was bearing material in the fluid. At the last failure fuel was dumped at a very high rate into oil. Drained at least 5 gals.from pan 3 times in 100 miles trying to reach a dealer. Gm stated each time "fuel in oil wont hurt it is oil based". Guess diesel doesnt really "wash" lubricant from surface!!!! Right !!!!! Have oceanfront property in Az for sale too!!!!

Original DMF!!! I'm sure it won't last another 100k. The new ones are about $280. I'm thinking of getting one to have on hand.
