Has anyone ever had their check engine light come on (showing 0403 egr code) then go out, then come back on a few days later, only to have it go out again. I just made an appointment with the dealer to fix this AND 1. loose steering column, 2. driveshaft vibration, 3. rattle near rear axle, missing tailgate bumper and loose tailgate, 4. non functioning left turn through tailer plug (looks like bad wire in main harness). I miss my '02 Dodge more and more every day. Had 100,000 miles on it when I sold it and was solid as a rock.

Yep, so many key cycles will clear the light and then it will come on again. EGR valve sticking or bad and needs replaced.

MY TRUCK IS IN JUST NOW FOR THEESE TWO REASONS.
ITS BEEN TWO DAYS NOW AND THEY CANT FIND THE PROBLEM :mad: WITH THE EGR CODE.

AND THE RATTLE IN THE STEERING COLUMN, ITS THE FOURTH TRIP TO THE SHOP FOR THAT. ALL THEY DO IS GREASE IT, BUT THE RATTLE CONTINUES THE NEXT DAY .
