07 2500HD classic, will the addition of firestone airbags void the warrenty, or 235 "G" rate tires?

Legally they shouldn't. But be forewarned the dealer will put blame on any aftermarket part to be the culprit of a problem even though by law they have to prove that it actually did cause the problem.

I don't think they would care one way or the other. Bags should not affect your warranty.:)

if the problem can be related to the modification.

If you have any rear-end problems (no not constipation) or a bent frame they could blame airbags.

Go for it! I have been running them since 1997. I LOVE EM!!! It was the first mod to my truck when it was new, not even 3000 miles and I put them on.

In no way should airbags void a warranty. They're not modifying the truck itself, they're an addition which provides a measure of safety and comfort.

My best advice would be to speak with your dealer and find out how they feel about it. I have talked with a frame shop owner and his exact words on air bags was (no way) would he put them on a truck. He said they get a lot of frame damage from them and he had the pictures to prove it. Just my .02

You really would have to be improperly using them to cause frame damage. Damage that would have probably been caused anyway. They really do NOT increase your load capacity. They really just help with the ride handling characteristics and truck leveling. That doesn't include jacking the truck back up to an unloaded height. I'm sure that would not be good for the frame.

my service manager said that they were the best thing you can do to your truck if hauling heavy, keeps everything level and in place like the truck was designed to be, no floaty steering feeling when loaded

I had a 2005 D/A 2500 and I put air bags on it to level out the truck with the 5th wheel on it. I found that I only needed about 7.5 lbs to do it, the truck only squatted about 1/2" out of level with the 5er on it. Its a 32.5' trailer and weighed about 13,500 at the time. I found that a good set of shocks would haved served me better in the long run.
With the dually I have now, that baby hardly squats and the trailer is a whole lot heavier..

I think the airbags improved my ride when I am empty as well as loaded. It is not as stiff empty, and bounces less loaded. Some states expansion joints are spread out just right that your truck with a trailer gets into a rhythm that is very annoying. The airbags have stopped that as well
