whats the pros and cons of turning off limp mode with efi live on a stock tranny? my buddy has done this with his 03 and runs a 500rwhp tune with no problems.

yet i run a stock allison with the ppe hot+2 in stage 5 and when i switch to stage 6 and pin it to the floor it limps......

any help would be great!!!
