I need to buy a tractor. I want something around 35hp, 4wd, and front end loader. I would like to buy a good used tractor and save the new hit. My brother has a 30 something hp Kubota with the loader and 4wd. Its a nice tractor but dont seem to have much azz. I want a dependable, heavy tractor to use at the hunting camp and on my property for general use. Any suggestions???

Just for the record, I like my JD 5210. A LOT. Quicke 720 loader, too.

I had a NH TC35D, nice tractor. it was also the large frame model. seems 35hp +/- is the cut off for large and medium frame models. get the large frame and it may be more what you want. the loaders on them come standard w/ SSL quick-tach so it's easy to rent or buy different stuff like grapple or rake or tooth bucket.

I was reading another post about a Mccormick. The local dealer wants around 20 g's for a 36hp - 4wd - fe loader. Seems a little high and I dont think they have very good reviews. I am wanting something for around 10 grand but dont want a pos lightweight. The Duramax needs a good workout.

Lots of good used machines out there just use a website like tractorhouse.com or iron search you can find lots of good stuff might even find somthing higher hp for same money

And search your local farm ads. We have found our Super M and the 706 in our Farm paper.
