Been here for a while absorbing info before getting my first diesel. I actually prefer the looks of the GMC and had my heart set on a specific set of options, but when the employee pricing w/$5000 rebate came along I decided to find something close enough, and here's my new Silverado 2500HD.

288 miles on the clock, approximately 80 of which are mine. Had a full tank when I picked it up from the dealer and so far driving mostly country roads DIC is showing an average of 16.4 MPG. I'm pleased :D. Next year I'll be shopping for a camper to load in the bed and this will be my traveling machine.

I love em both and actually was sold on the GMC, wife talked me into going to the chevy dealer across the street. Glad I did. Love the chebby way better. And, love the hood!
