What is the green light on the bottom of the dash under the steering wheel? And should it be flashing?

Its a small tab with a green light thats flashing tucked in next to the ecm plug. I dunno maybe its some sorta alarm, I bought the truck used. No matter how I size em I cant get pics to post. Have the dealer contact the orginal owner and see what they have done and maybe give you the fobs for it if that is what it is for. Brian | ||
