I seen a Dee Zee that goes right to the floor but I believe the bottom part was seperate compartment with doors. Didn't look close enough though.

Weatherguard makes some awesome boxes and you can get pretty big ones too which is sounds like you're after. Weatherguard (http://www.knaack.com/content.cfm?page_id=16&subcategory_id=9)

I've done considerable research in this department, and I can say that Pro-Tech far outshines the rest in my book. Weatherguard is also excellent, but I think Pro-Tech has even better fit and finish. Pro-Tech is also more willing to work with the customer on customizing, etc. I don't have a Pro-Tech yet, but a few weeks ago I went to a dealer and finally got to scope them out, and they are everything I hoped they be.

As with anything, you pay for the best. Expect to spend in the $700 range for most Pro-Tech boxes. Weatherguard is closer to $500, so that's gotta be taken into consideration.

Adrian Steel is third in my opinion. I've owned two, and there's nothing wrong with them, but they're just not in the same class as the other two brands I've mentioned.

You might try Highway Products... I've had one of their 5th wheel boxes for about a year and it has done a GREAT job!! http://www.800toolbox.com/ .........Triffid

My vote is weatherguard. I have the large box like you want in black, very nice. Mine is for sale but I don't know about shipping costs.

weatherguard is the only way to go in my opinion. ive got a black one too. ive had three, they all ruled. only boxes i have had that truely keep all moisture out of the box. even though a wet box is usually a good thing, not in this case.

Have any of you guys ever looked at Pro-Tech? Weatherguard is good, don't get me wrong, but take a look at Pro-Tech sometime. I think you'll be impressed.

I think you'll be impressed.I've looked at both them and the Highway products boxes, and I just don't care for they way they look. I am sure they are top quality, however. You can tell that just by looking at them.

My RKI Black powdercoat crossbed steel box just came in last week..... :cool2:
