Mr. Mister 03-07-2005, 02:57 AM Wow, that really sweet
what kinda bumper is that???/
i think i coudl run 37's with that bumper and not worry about it rubbing in the front
chaps 03-07-2005, 05:41 PM That is a great looking rig you got there, I would love to have some HID's for cruising around at night the look pimpin. Are u worried about getting hassled for running them without covers?? I know alot of guys who run lights without covers and a few who have got hassled for it. where was that picture taken at?? The moutains in the background are throwing me off, looks like a picture out the back of gordons over near ogilby but I could be wrong.
Mike330R 03-07-2005, 05:43 PM ave not got hassled yet.
It's at Glamis on the road to Olds.
jeazor 03-07-2005, 05:47 PM Nice rig, very cooool!!
Mike330R 03-08-2005, 10:09 AM The bumper is from www.buckstop.biz (http://www.buckstop.biz/)
I looked for a while for one and this was the only one that fit for me. I guess it's the 1st of it's kind. The rubbing is an issue more in the rear of the fender housing. I have a set of prototype Dura-flaps that Dennis installed for me due to me having issues with the tires rubbing at full tilt on the standard flaps. The tire is real close to the fender well and does still touch the duraflap :(
The front I trimmed for looks:

Duraflap:
The fronts mount behind/outside the fender trim. Sorry i don't have a better view picture yet:

rwagner64 03-11-2005, 12:18 PM Hey Mike
If you take that truck to the dealer they are replacing the door trim, were the part # is showing through.
Just to let you know
Mike330R 03-11-2005, 12:20 PM Thanks! I always wondered why it bubbled like that.
I have not been able to figure out if I want to remove it or have it fixed.
Goldneye 03-11-2005, 02:05 PM Hey Mike
If you take that truck to the dealer they are replacing the door trim, were the part # is showing through.
Just to let you know I see I'm not alone on the bubble issue on the door molding. dealer ordered mine should be in next week.

will take a while to get them, they seem slow.
B-rad 03-14-2005, 11:22 PM what kind of tires are those? do they work well in the sand? im looking for a good sand tire....by the way, awesome ride
Mike330R 03-14-2005, 11:25 PM They are Pro-Comp AT and do work good in the sand :)
LBZrcks 03-15-2005, 05:00 PM Are you runnning stock tie rods ane ends?
Mike330R 03-15-2005, 05:10 PM Yes for now. Going to try the 1" OD Blitzkrieg set-up soon. In a couple weeks they will have a set out that you don't have to ream your spindles.

Thunderhead7 03-15-2005, 11:54 PM Nice lift, I really like the look, great job!!
Mike330R 03-16-2005, 10:17 AM Thanks all http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
Turns out I may have to revalve the front shocks. The upper arms hit the drop down brackets during an agressive driving period for photo's. I think it's due to the new bumper.
here's a pic during the shoot:

radvans 03-16-2005, 09:51 PM How much does the new bumper way compare to stock?
Assuming that is a 6" lift with 35's, how well does the step help? I really like that style but not sure they come down enough to help with the 6" lift. My wife likes the auto steps but they are 3 times as much as the step you have.
Mike330R 03-16-2005, 10:09 PM This bumper w/ lights is 200'ish pounds.
Steps help a ton. Seem just right for me and my wife. If I had the money I'd go with the electric's :)
