I'm considering a set of black KMC Hoss wheels and was curious how the finish holds up and how you guys take care of your black wheels. I get a pretty substantial amount of brake dust up front and my chrome rims are starting to show some wear despite regular washes and polishing. However, sitting out in the hot sun has not helped either, I'm sure. Fortunately, I now have a garage big enough to park the truck in, so that should help out. So any tips or advice you guys can share, I'd appreciate it.

i just spray mine with windex and wipe off, and they look great. had polished before these and black are 100 % easier to keep nice

i just use a soft bristled nylon brush and then wipe mine down when i wash the truck, seems to work good enough and mine are just krylon with no clear coat or anything.

and on the brake dust thing, next time you do brakes, get ceramic pads, theyre great, a little more expensive but no dust.

I just wash them with soap and water and they still look as good as the first day I put them on. You shouldnt have to worry about them holding up in my eyes...
