Hey all, getting on the freeway today (very mildly) with the 120 TTS tune and BAAM! Water/oil evrywhere and the motor seized. Will not spin over. Busted block driver side.

I do have the extended 100k warr. Is there anyone out there that knows a good place to take it to,preferably in the Sacramento, CA area?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!

If I get stuck with the bill, what is the flat rate to R&R the engine on a 4 wd chassis? Any other ideas?

Please tell us you're going to put your stock ECM back in and take the water meth and any other power adders off before it goes to the dealer. Sorry to hear that happened, that just sucks. Let us know how it turns out.

Oh please keep us updated on this one. That seriously sucks man. I also agree with what everyone else is saying about taking off all programmers/modules. Good luck.

look on ebay as there are motors for sale every once in awhile. around $7k on there. which is good in my book compared to what you could end up paying?

While I've no experience, I think under the circumstances, would try Crossroads GMC on hwy49 in Auburn. Have a couple of factory trained DMax master mechs. My neighbor had a head + injectors replaced there under extended warranty (45K miles) and was happy.
