Hi,
I hooked up my Hypertech programmer yesterday and it reported the U1026 code. I found what the code means (Loss of ATC Class 2 Communication) and I've been doing quite a bit of reading on this since. Mostly it's an information code not a trouble indicator. Several people have posted that when they took their trucks into the dealer that the techs cleared the code. I've come to the conclusion that since my truck is running strong and happy at 14.4K miles I should clear the code and proceed with the programming. Anybody out there disagree and think I should go visit Chevy for a warranty scan?
