Battery tie down rusted loose and took out the electrical system (12v).....
Rewired it, replaced resistor wire with normal 12v wire, replaced 6 volt coil with 12 volt coil.
Tractor starts much easier than I can ever remember. We run both 12 and 6 volt equipment and from memory it seems that the six is kinder on points. Any particular thoughts about how this change will effect points and do you think that the improved starting is going to carry to -20F?
