I cant understand the words but you can figure it out on some.

...... Can those Diesels out turn our Diesels?

I don't see why a 3.0L Diesel in a Midsize truck would "out turn" ours.

When we say that the Chevrolet LUV D-MAX is totally renewed, we support it with arguments. They are three new motors the ones that offer for our champion of sales: two to gasoline and one to diesel. The motor acquaintance 2.2 of 114 horses of force, now has been replaced for an agile machine of 2400 cubic centimeters that offers 124HP to 4800 revolutions per minute, with a torque maximum of 195 Newton-Metro to 3600 returns, that is to say, 15% more than force that the previous motor. The motor “top class” of the new generation of small trucks LUV is represented by a heart of 197 horses of force to 5400 revolutions per minute. This modern machine of three thousand five hundred cubic centimeters, six cylinders in “V”, double cam shaft in head and 24 valves, has a force of 279 Newton-Metro, therefore, 6% more than it passed version of 3.2 liters.

i took and copied and pasted it to a spanish to english translator for all of you.

That's a pretty cool site actually, they have Opel/Holden Astra's rebadged as Chevy, Suzuki Jimny and Grand Vitaras, Daewoo little sh*t things. Pretty cool to see what they market, where.

I only see a 3.0 inline 4 cylinder turbo diesel there. No 6 cylinder diesel at all--those 3.5s are gas engines.

The diesel makes 130hp @ 3800rpm. 3.76 bore x 4.13 stroke = 183in (all approximate).

From what I can figure out from the British Isuzu site http://www.isuzu.co.uk/index.htm is that D-max stands for Denver Max, lol. Click on rodeo pickup, then on Denver "Max".

With fuel prices going way up and and all the hoopla about energy conservation you would think those vehicles would be a natural for the U.S. market. Don't understand why the domestic manufactures complain about foreign (Japanese) competition when the answers to many of their "problems" are being manufactured by them already. They could sell the $hit out of them here at home.

Wow, they kept the "Luv"

An auto parts store around my area just got bought out by CarQuest, they had quite an extensive fleet of diesel Luv pickups up until about a year ago. They just kept running and running.
