I am getting an intermittent single clunk from the mid to rear of my 04.5 when backing out of my driveway or parking spaces. Sounds almost like a U-Joint failing but only 6500 miles on my Truck.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Has anyone else experienced this?

You don't say where your from, but....if it's in a cold climate I've tracked a similar noise to the brakes freezing and braking free when first put into gear.

Northern California is home and freezing temps are not an issue here... but I will pay attention to see if I am applying brakes when this happens.

Not the same issue - my noise is when the frozen brake pads broke free from the rotors.
