Afair Autometer 2880 would work, but check out tinytach.com, they make one with a built in hourmeter.

i cant find anything about 2880

i need something to go with my autometer phantom gauges

damn.....all i can find is a silver one by autometer....but $135+ shipping!!!! Wow....guess ill wait on that....

Can i somehow use the 93 stuff.....how do they get a tach signal?

EDIT: oh your looking at the 2888 gauge....ya that would work but the 3788 almost matches my stuff.

What I have in mind is the one with the magnetic sending unit that goes on the alternator. I think the tinytach is the better alternative, though.

Other than that, they do make SI-12 alternators that have a terminal for a tachometer. If you can find one of those, you could use any tachometer using that signal. It should also be possible to install a connection on the alternator yourself --- just something I wouldn't want to mess with ...

there is another way to do it you can make a signal converter ,and use the engine speed sensor for the transmission if you have an automatic i got pics of what it looks like if you want them as far as using the signal converter it just converts the saw tooth waveform that the ESS uses to the square wave signal that any gas tach uses

That sounds interesting. But the only speed sensor seems to be the one for the cruise control? That one won't tell the engine speed.
