I Use the MRBP 4" Kit with a Mufler and i think it sounds Great.... Nice Deep Rumble. tons of power and Smoke if u tune it right... I dont think there is a need for 5" because you Downpipe is still 4" unless you plan to change that too...
hers what mine sounds like...

I would 5 get inch if you can spend the money.
Looks awesome, sounds awesome, and I think it reduces the heat temp.
I would put a muffler on for back pressure and sound. Just my .02

If you get a chance would you mind shooting a video on the 135 setting I would like to see the smoke because I'm interested in the same setup you have (tuner/exhaust).

You sure you don't mean Front-pipe? You actually undid the v-band clap on the back of the turbo, removed the trans dipdtick tube, and replaced the DOWNPIPE? I was unaware that any companys sold exhausts that came with downpipes.

No, your right. It is from the V-band back that is 5 inch. My bad.

I like my 5" sounds great. I do have a high flow muffler. I do not have an EGT gauge but I notice when I go on long trips with my 36' 5er my mud flap has melted just a little more. So I do believe it is is helping to keep the EGT's down by having more flow threw it. IMHO

Just an fyi, and I know it doesn't sound right but a 5" system will move your powerband up in the RPM band by quite a bit. Personally I prefer my power around 2000 (stock exhaust, and 4" exhaust range) vs. over 2200 which is where the 5" system put my brother's truck.
As for egts the 5" **may** have dropped his egt's 50 degrees below mine but a side by side test is hard ;)
However... is system does sound waaaaay meaner than my 4" does.
