i have a full-traction 6'' suspension lift, im kinda new to plowing and i was wondering if anyone makes a snowplow and kit for a lifted truck and, what the pros/cons (mostly the cons) are to plowing like this. i need all the input i can get. right now i am either thinking of putting a plow on my truck, or buying a 1 ton with a dump and a plow on front.... thanks!

By the 1 ton, all plow manufactures allow for a range of truck heights but none account for a 6" lift, so now you are talking a custom mount and no warranty on that part of the system. It also has a huge bearing on the amount of wear put on the truck. That extra height add to the mass of truck that moves when you hit the pile or a curb hidden under the pile....I have seen trucks shear body mounts, axle mounts and such due to the extra stess of being lifted.
