blizzardplowman 03-04-2005, 11:01 PM Is there a flash for the 05 truck, I have surge, black smoke when on it hard, set a P1093 today, also have set low boost and egr 404 codes 1x. Truck buck bad when air temp is under 30 and water temp is 170-180 over that in both cases no probs. I am running the edge set on lvl 1. Thanks dmaxalliTech 03-04-2005, 11:05 PM take off the edge.... JJs DuMax 03-14-2005, 03:17 PM Call Edge and apprise them of what is going on. They will send you the latest version that resolves the cold weather fueling issues. You can either give them a credit card number and send your old unit back to them once the new unit arrives, OR you can mail your old unit in and then they will mail you the new unit. My E/J just flat out died! So far they have stood behind their product. JJ :) blizzardplowman 03-14-2005, 05:36 PM Well- I sent in the edge today overnight, hope to have the updated one back Thursday, took the truck in to the dealer for a quick check and they found no updated flash for it. said to limp it in and they see what it was showing when or if I get the p1093 again, tech is mod cool so he's trying. If the 1093 is fuel related, I wonder if it is due to the design of the pickup, swapped out my stock tank for the super tank this weekend and its a very odd pickup/float setup that is in our trucks. I'm trying to get one to disect just for fun. | ||
