I got 02 dmax. lb7 cc sb and i am trying to install lift pump today. the question i have is....when the instruction say locate ign wire, Hot wire......does it mean to hook up to a hot wire or hook up to a wire that gets hot when ignition is turned on....i am on the first set of instructions...under the fuse panel area on the drivers side. thanks

depends on whether you are using a relay or not. if you arent using a relay then you want a fuse that is only hot when the key is on
