Can you put the late model extended mirrors on an 02 duramax???

I did, they bolt on but have to be rewired. I got new connectors from Powervision, and spliced them to the new mirrors, then plugged them into my truck. I also had to wire up the extend/retract to a separate switch, and splice into the trucks turn signal circuits. It's worth the effort, but the one thing I don't like is the passenger mirror isn't convex, so field of vision is reduced on that side.

Hey autobody9,

I put a set of '04 extendable towing mirrors on my '02. 1sick57 is right about having to rewiring them.

I had to purchased the extendable/retractable switch from Powervision and used male/female quick dicconect connectors. After figuring out which wire controls which function, I made the connections.

I used a set of instructions form Powervision to connect the ext/ret function and the used a set of instructions form the TTT mirrors for the blinkers connection.

This whole thing was frustrating until I finally figured it all out.

One suggestion, make sure the power wires for the ext/ret function are the same length (resistance). If not, one will be slower than the other (mine was the left).

If you don't have a pair and are looking for some, last time I checked tophog was selling them for a reasonable (probably the best) price.

Good luck!
