Would anybody happen to know the wire colors of pin 49 & 50 on each plug at the ECM ?

Ok I guess I will have to look myself. I guess that is what I get for trying to take the easy way out.

Gearvendor wants to know. I have been talking to them about a unit for the van

That would be a nice add on to the van. GM should have the 6spd 6l90 in the vans and maybe a swap out will be easy enough to do.
I get very good milage on the highway now and thats at 2300 or so rpm's, dropping to 1800 would be great.

Is gearvendor a vendor in here, I didn't see them on the list? It looks like I am keeping my van, gm wants to do a settlement, and not buy it back. Depending if they let me keep my 90,000 trans warranty they gave me or not, I may be shopping for a new trans myself.

6L90 swap would be interesting. It is rated to hold more than the 4L80 IIRC and has a much lower OD, similar to the allison. Its roughly the same physical size as the 4L80 too I think. Tricky thing would be the TCM. It would "probably" talk to the ECM because they both use high speed GMLAN, but I doubt it would talk to the body because the van body's speak Class 2. You probably wouldnt have a PRND321 indicator, but I cant think of any other big issues. ABS might be another "unknown" how it will react with this swap...

I think so. I just need to figure out the wire colors and call them back.
