just got my pillar mount and my gauges. i just painted the mount and once its done raining id like to install the mount and gauges. before i get started if there is anyone out there with pics of their install it would be of great help to me. I am installing boost, pyro, and trans temp gauges. Even if they were just pics of where you drilled, put in sensors, etc. they would help, also maybe pics of where you went through the firewall.
thanks in advance

:help: ok in looking over all gauges and connections etc it looks like the pyro and tranny temp guages are fairly simple installs. this Fin boost gauge is getting the best of me though. where the hell does this thing go to? Ive got it connected to the gauge, that end is easy. On the other end of the nylon tubing is either some crappy looking plastic T thing that I can figure out for the life of me, or your choice of a 1/8 or 1/4 NPT adapter. Where does this adapter screw into? The instructions talk about a pressure port on the engine. Anyone want to enlighten me to where in the hell this pressure port is? If it makes a difference this is the auto meter boost gauge #4304. thanks in advance.
please help me:help:

JMJ343,
I'm in the same boat you are. I have a SPA Design 211 Dual BOOST/EGT gauge. It is completely installed (well almost): mounted, wires ran, power ready to connect, and I don't know where the hell to plug in my BOOST sensor gauge.
The instructions that came with the gauge is very vague. I am hoping some one will provide pictures of where the sensor should be place.
Thanks!

i did mine today...superdiesels little contraption there sure is awsome, but i saved myself the hundred bones and tapped the intake manifold. kennedy diesel has a good pic of where to drill on his website under tech tips/duramax gauges. im super terrified of metal shavings in the turbo or engine so I removed the manifold before drilling and tapping.

also, go to www.kennedydiesel.com and look under the tech tips. he has pictures and instructions. also, when it comes to lights and connecting to the dimmer switch, the wire on the back of the light switch is the violet/white wire that you can splice into. this allows the dimming of the lights to work with the dimmer switch.
i have the pyro and boost guage and have no issues with mine. everything went in without a hitch. i used keenedy's instructions and made some of my own adaptions.

Where can I buy a Super Diesel Manifold (LB7) or is there a website I could order it from?
Thanks,
