Took to dealer to have trany oil changed, and they told me the rear seal on the tranny was leaking and it was going to cost me about $400 to fix. Should this not be a warranty issue since the engine and tranny are covered to $100,000 miles?

I had two dealers tell me it was not covered. Tempe GMC actually argued with me about it saying because my truck had more than 36,000 miles on it, it was out of warranty. I argued saying that GMs website states all 2007 vehicles and light duty trucks will have the full 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. She stated that is a limited warranty, and I then told her right on GMs website, all seals and gaskets were covered in the warrantly. She then said good luck finding a dealer to honor that warranty on my vehicle. I called GM warranty department and they verified my truck was covered by the 100,000 mile warranty and called the dealer to tell them it was coverable under the warranty. What a bunch of Aholes, the other dealer now said they will do the work also (Courtesy Chevrolet) so that is were I am taking it tomorrow morning.

I had mine replaced about a month ago. They did it no questions asked and my extended warranty covered it. Now the front differential, thats another on-going battle......
