ok, heres my plan, i have a 05 crew cab 2500, i already have 6-8 cst lift cranked to 8, its very stiff and i run 37's. now my plan is to run, 40's with adding the CST 4' spindle and a 2inch body lift so i can have a nice cushy ride. i wanna lower the truck about 2inchs for that. what should i do w/ the rear?? blocks? or new springs. i was thinkin blocks because its cheaper and i wanna do airbags for towing. i also am goin to have 120hp when im finished w/ my build. are blocks strong enuff for the torque? just a two inch block.

why dont you go with he cst 9-11" for 40s and run springs in back with no blocks. Body lifts look funny on these trucks. IMO.
To answer your original question, do deaver springs with air bags.

i have deavers, for an 8inch lift. im doing this cuz its way cheaper. if i did the 9-11 then i would have to forkout 2500 buck as oppssed to maybe 1500. i already have the tires for cheap.

Just a thought, but can you sell your current 6-8 and 8" springs to make up the money to do it right? Not sure if that is possible for you. Just an idea.

i could get 1200 to 1000, for it, but it makes it that much more difficult. i dont just have 2500 bucks sitting there, its easier for me to buy the 500 dollor spindles one month then buy the blocks and body lift. the reason i choose a 2 inch boddy lift is cuz i dont like body lifts, i just wanna have more then euff room for my tire up front and in back. its doing a number to my frame right now being so stiff.
thanx for the info. :)

if you ever bite the bullet and do a 9-11..I'll take you 6-8 lift off your hands.. IMO.. everyone trys to save money but DA inferno has the right idea, do it with the correct lift, especially with 40's... And with a truck going that high, id say stay away from blocks for the rear. Correct me if im wrong, i believe our trucks sit on a 1" inch body bushing stock, so really your only gaining another inch. JMO..

well i could sell you the lift, but i paid extra for the shocks the shock mounted upper a=arm and hoop, you have to just take the lift and buy that stuff later. but im gunna have someone install it for me.
