I weighed mine once - same truck as yours but 4x4 and it was 6,600 lbs. I am assuming that the foundry you speak of is for steel??

Read my signature for what I have.

Weighed at ag scale and front is 4650, rear is 3450.

That was carrying 64 gallons of fuel.

this foundry i speak of is aluminum

6730 with me in it, truck in sig.

I had mine on the scales at the elevator buying fertilizer. About 3/4 of a tank of fuel, no people in the truck, no cargo in the bed and the readout of the scale was 6820.

I came in at 6,950 with two people and a full tank.

Did they make Duramax weights in 2002?

I thought they were already heavy enough.

My 02 weighs 8008 including myself and 40 gallons in a aux tank I have never weighed the 04 without a trailer.

mine weighs 7440 with full tank an me inside. Go find a truck stop with a CAT scale and you can get weighed for $8

i am about 6400 or so with me in it and a full tank of fuel.

7400# loaded with fuel, 300# of people, 250# hitch plus other stuff in signature.

My '02 weights 6500# no driver - full of fuel - no load. When I latch onto the hot rod trailer (loaded) the tonge weight of just over 1000# and total (Truck, Trailer & lots of spare's & equipment) is close to 14,000. The old bone stock D/A pulls it like a dream. I tried to pull this same load with my old '94 GMC half ton and it was like trying to pull a bull dozer with a drag chute flying behind the trailer - what a difference! I hope everyone has such luck & satisfaction.
