My buddy has a PPE Standard he just got. Been having some issues with it but are slowly getting it figured out. When you turn the PPE up on any levels especially on 5 when you floor it from a dead stop shouldn't it pour smoke? His truck doesn't really smoke at all!! CP3 going out?? It doesn't seem to be quite as fast as it should either.. Its a 01 LB7 with intake, exhaust and this ppe and thats it. Is there a cheap way to read rail pressure?

you can read the actual fuel pressure compared to the desired fuel pressure with the the PPE......Level 5 does smoke some but not a whole lot.....I just replaced the CP3 on my truck about 3 weeks ago. It was all out slow, my brothers stock 02 would beat my truck with ease running the PPE on level 5. Like I said before the PPE didnt show any codes, but when I hooked my brothers scanner up I had 2. P1093- lack of fuel rail pressure during power enrichment and P1094-lack of fuel real pressure at idle.
