Doing the turbo back install on my lmm with the mbrp system for the llys. Curious if anyone has pictures of the system installed to see what you did for mounting brackets, especially by the trans on the down pipe. Bracket on trans is located in a different place on the lmms than on the llys it appears. Any info is appreciated for I don't want to have to weld on the nice stainless pipe, thinking about welding a different bracket onto a spare clamp and mounting the clamp there.

Most people don't do anything with the placement of the front pipe hanger, they just don't use it...

that is what I have done for the last week, seems strong enough but wasn't sure. What about the extension pipe, where it is bent, do you aim that straight down or angle it towards the drive shaft? And do you use all of the other stock hanger mounts or are some of those left out since the system is so much lighter than the stock system with dpf and cat?

thanks again:)

i took mine to the local muffler guy to fix up. i wanted some more hangars put in and more clearance between the cross member and pipe. He didn't really want to mess with it, probably because i didn't buy the system from him. He tried telling me i probably had the wrong exhaust since the front hangers didn't line up. And after some other stammering around he finally agreed to do it. Kinda made me mad, i knew what i was talking about, even though he acted the whole time like i didn't have a clue what was going on. He welded a couple hangers on, probably took 5 minutes but charged me $60 anyway. Oh well, i'm happy with the way things are now...

I was thinking about going to a wrecking yard and finding an OBS duramax and trying to use that tranny mount on my truck so I can use the hanger. I'll let you guys know how it works out.
