Is there anyplace to get a pyro probe fitting for autometer pyrometer other than paying 35.00 to autometer? I need a 1/4 compression to 1/8 npt fitting. Also need the brackets to hold the 2 1/16 gauges to trippins overhead mount. I bought the gauges used and need these parts for the install. Thanks for any info.

Where have you checked? I don't understand why Autometer would want $35 for that piece.

I think you're closest to Fort Dodge. Try Dave's Diesel for the spare guage mounts, and Ziegler Cat or Home Depot (copper line fitting; drill thru to bottom) for the 1/8"X1/4". Also Napa can order either...T

I checked at NAPA couldn't find it. Looked on Jegs and Summit Racing under autometer and found part# 5245 pyro probe fitting 34.95 ouch. Maybe I should just call autometer. I was hoping someone on this site would know where to find one. Thanks again.

called autometer this afternoon. Told them I bought used cobalt pyro and boost gauge but needed these parts to do the install. He said no problem we'll send them right out. No charge. Now thats a class act.
