how does the zf hold up to high horspower mods when compared to the allison. either in stock or perfermance upgraded clutches and torque converters.

Vertical-escape 03-03-2005, 03:48 PM I have 6,000 miles on my 4.5 LLY with the Banks 6 Gun, I always pull a 10,000 lb trailer and not a lick of trouble, My last truck was a LB7 with the allison and I sent the trans into limp mode more than I can count, I got tired of it and ordered the ZF, no looking back now!:ro) With the ZF you don't have to worry about issues of only running low HP levels when towing, give her the coals and turn up the dial!:cool: Just my):h opinion?
