This morning, my truck had low batteries, barely cranked the engine over. I jumped it and it cranked right up. Temps in the 40's

Now all the dash gauges do not work, Tach, Speedo, Oil, Water, Volt and Fuel.

Would this be related to the Edge, or did I just blow a fuse?

If it is a fuse, where is it located, I assume it is in the fuse center on the left side of the dash.

The truck ran fine when I parked it. The Edge has been on for 2 months, no problems.

OK, after reading some real old posts, looks like the batteries have lived their last days. Others who had the same dash gauge problems, had these problems, because of dead or weak batteries.

I guess there is also a TSB on this as well, but everything worked well until this morning, when the batteries were almost dead.

The Original Delco's are 2 and a half years old, switching to Red Top Optima's tonight.

Delco batteries usually last five years.

Not from what I found.

Either way I am not waiting for them to leak, as some people have had happen.

Factory batteries are the absolute worst batteries made. Especially AC Delco. I went through 2 sets in 6 months on my 95 6.5 diesel. They are not made to be charged and discharged, the more you do that to them the quicker they fail. Optima batteries are one of the best.

Your dash guages not working was probablly caused by a low voltage signal at startup. Once you have some good batteries back in there they should work normal again.

That was exactly it, 2 fresh red top's, back to normal. Still $100 at Costco.

I had low voltage and no gauges the whole day of driving, old batteries never got charged up enough.
