Does anyone have ideas of how to make a cheap pop tester?
Thanks

I would think it would be a lot eaiser, safer, cheaper, and more accurate to just take them to diesel shop and have them tested. You would have to pay for a 1/2 hours labor that's a lot less than the guage you would need let alone the rest of the parts to make the pump

About $8/inj is what they charge around here for clean & test, & if they find a bad one cost to troubleshoot goes toward replacement, or if you have hi miles and suspect problems, best bet would be to contact one of our supporting vendors and get a fresh set for swap out.

Yep - an' since power door lock fluid is extremely volatile, and messes with the ozone layer, is EPA controlled substance, requiring FDA administration...........

I have ten 6.5 engines on the ground and 4 in trucks ( and that's just to play with). If I have all the injectors tested, it will get expensive. I also will be working on testing the pressure my injection pumps put out, but that's another project. I am not a garage, but when I go into something I go all the way. And I know I can buy a pop tester for $ 470, but what if I want two?

It's been done, but you need a 0-5000 psi gage to have the gage operate in the the middle of its range.
