Would anyone know of a good diesel shop in Vermont, New Hampshire, Mass or Northern New York. I would love to have the timing on my 6.5 checked by someone who really knows the correct method.

Check around your neighborhood, any shop with a T2 or T2 clone or MT2500 can check timing does not have to be a Diesel specific shop.

Thats a large area to be driving around to get your timing set. I could recomend a shop in Wakefield MA if you want. Liberty Chevy. I have a friend who works there and knows the 6.5 very well.

You might want to look at "dieselmann's" website. He has a listing of mechanics/shops listed by state, and I think they're only put on there if someone recommends them. There weren't any nea me, but maybe it'll help you.
