Flywheel replacement under warranty...anyone know if labor is covered or is it only the parts?

thanks, just got the bill for the front hub failure and flywheel/cluth/bearing replacement: 1900.00 after the 500 credit for the flywheel and bolts.
they are telling me that gm will not cover the disc replacement only the flywheel.
any luck with this?

What was the problem? If the clutch was then that is a wear item and if they found the flywheel needed to be replaced then you only don't pay for the flywheel.

If the flywheel was the problem then you should only pay for clutch parts because they r&r'ed the trans for the warrantable flywheel problem.

It all depends on the original problem.

flywheel was/is the original problem.

I asked the dealership if they would warranty a clutch replacement w/o replacing/resurfacing the flywheel surface. "they stated NO" so my next question was, if you require the replacement one way then why not the other.

If a warranteed item causes the premature failure/replacement of another part it would stand to reason they should have some liabilty.
