Road Boss 03-03-2005, 03:26 AM I know this question has been thrown around a couple of times on this board. Does GM offer 4.10 gears on the new HD's? I want to add 35'' tires and a lift on my truck and I don't want to do it without the proper gearing. I don't care about improving my mileage I just want to keep the low end power with my upgrades. And what are the best gears to buy? maynard9089 03-03-2005, 05:43 AM You can get 4.10's on an HD but not a Duramax equipped one. 6L and 8.1L gassers only. Too much torque on the diesel. Call the local GM parts counter and have them look it up. The ones in my area are pretty good about helping someone out with finding info.
